Final vote week for dA's 'Cute Monster Design Challenge'
has begun. Please do check out my entry, should you have a moment. Greetings, peeps!
I bring you triumphant news! It pays to be in the right place at the right time!
It happened to be just right when my colleague, the very hard-working Ian Sharman
, was putting the finishing touches on the LSCC
programme. The organisers requested he use a colour version of the sketch, kindly provided by George Perez. Only, he didn't have one.

And here we are! I was very pleased and proud to have been set to this task, especially since hundreds of people would have seen my work (the programme came in a few variants, distributed to the thousands of visitors).
Surreally, I was cheeky enough to ask the man himself to autograph the programme for me
. He sounded rather pleased with the colours and we had a little natter about Wonder Woman's eyes. I'd made them bluish, though he seemed to think they were brown. By his words, it was alright since he based the design on a brown-eyed relative.
This was a much-needed ego-boost.
