Greetings, guys! Azim Akberali was asked to draw a cover for Mark Starks’ Martian one day. Suddenly, a colourist was needed, so he asked me to step in… et voila! ;B This was quite interesting and fun to work on; the monochrome-shaded inks were different from what I was used to. The dragon was great fun to colour, but I wish I’d done his skin better; Azim’s art suggested little speckled scales which I attempted to continue into the skin’s lightest part by having some of them reflect the light. In their current state, they look a bit messy.. perhaps I should make a custom scales brush! :3 Photoshop 5 hours.

I do enjoy working with all the OUC peeps; everyone is awesome for their unique reasons. Hopefully, us two will have a chance to work on another collaboration or two. ^_^ <3
P.S. Had another look at Azim's art, his colours are so natural and gentle.. not like my heavy-handed pow-wow ones. X3 Note to self: tone it down. X3
