Greetings, guys! After two months... two months!!... of anticipation Tangled finally reached our shores. Long story short; nil disappointment and expectations met and exceeded. There was a little bit of blubber from my companion (*pokes* =CrazyEnglishGuy), and I have to admit that even the cold-hearted Russian lady had gone over all misty-eyed. Very much enjoyed it! And now, let the fanart spree commence! Quite a lot of tweaking on this one colour-wise, especially on the face, which I didn't really like until the last moment.

I have to ask; did you use brushes on the grass?
Love the shading and the coloring overall, and the fact that you're not afraid of making realistic backgrounds. Thumbs up!
With regards to grass brushes, I do have some saved but don't tend to use them preferring instead to add my own grass touches. The manual approach to texturing gives you greater freedom.
And, yeah, I need to work on those backgrounds. Perspective is hard to get right. X)
Just wish I'd done it a little better.
I've promised to do a "dark" Rapunzel too, in a similar style... and someone suggested a Gothel, but I imagine her as a 'goodie' in this AU.
