...before we proceed upon celebrating my newest update, answer meeee these questions ...one...eee
Do you like Spongebob?Yes! No!
It's a great joke, you gotta admit!
Many of you may have noticed that it is, in fact, 2005
. Those who didn't, and I ain't naming names... Matthew
... well all I can offer is a belittling pat. *pat*
There is a little superstition in Latvia. 'Spend your first New Year's week wisely, for that is how the rest of the year shall pass'
If this is true, then I shall spend most of the year dieting. Badly.
Naw, it was all well.
Spent lots of time with my family, had lots of nice food and fantabulastic pressies! Much to my delight I received the Kilgorin Darkness
. I am well chuffed... Yes I did
play with it, and yes I did
hook it into my belt and strike various awkwardly-executed heroic poses.
Words of wisdom: 'If something has been placed into a capsule, it is most definitely there for a reason'.
I had to take some antibiotics recently and, me being the silly kind... I plopped the capsule open and sprinkled the contents over my Fijitas. Yeah, great idea.
The contents of your average capsule are so vile that they better stay where they are. Safely released only when reaching the acidic climate of your stomach.
Well, I am not built like a duck ... so each bite of my precious evening snack tasted pretty close to barf. Jeez...US!.
New Year's resolution #1: 'Learn to swallow capsules.'
Do you realise that I haven't submitted anything in over two months?! Scraps don't count. Some of you seemed genuinely distressed, Ryan.
... Others commented on my old arties,
which was very, very nice.
I owe peeops so much art... therefore:
New Year's resolution #2: 'Set some time aside for Art/Writing.' (Look out for the Reduced Lazyitis Chart
tm in the near future)
New Year's resolution #3: 'Go to the Gym, at least twice a week.'
Yah, I've let that go for three weeks or so, closer to Christmas. You know, all those pies
aren't doing my jeans any favours!
New Year's resolution #4: 'Be more helpful around the house'.
... yes, ooooooOOooOoOoOooh the power of heavy family discussions. Walk the guilt-trip
, bebe. But then again, why shouldn't we all make more of an effort?
Why not do something nice for your parents, siblings? Just, for free... you know?
Do something nice, not out of collecting the 'oweages' and piling on the 'percentages'.
But to make the other person just a little happier and, at the end of the day, yourself.
New Year's resolution #5: 'Finish 'Piss-easy Keyboards' Volume One.'
Yes, the musical bug
got me last summer ...dug out my old keyboard and tinkered a bit, once again it all sort of
rode off into the sunset right round September...
Anyways, practice makes perfect. My sis
is twanking her electric guitar, which she seems pretty keen on. Also, our friend Mar, acquired some drums. He's getting quite good on them. Too good, in fact.
Especially when it comes to substituting them for pillows and boxes at our house... lol someone gets terribly annoyed when he does that.
Ah well, lol musical history in the making.
He bought some new cymbals this weekend, and we had tons of fun with them. DID YOU KNOW, that if you put the Crash
on your head, then tap it with your finger... that only you will hear the bell-like reverberations... to the people listening in it would all sound shallow, and quiet.
Yeeey, lol it was very fun... I got proof which I may
submit into scraps later...
New Year's resolution #6: 'Do more for charity.'
...although this already may be covered by #2 and #4. Nais! Kookeeeeet!
New Year's resolution #7: 'Learn AVID in order tto progressswiftlyupthecorporateladderwhereIcanearntruckloadsofmoneyandneverworkagain!'
...the first part of which is doable indeed.
So far it's going well... Fingers crossed
. Luv to hear from all of you!
Have fun, good luck! Clubbing My favourite sister
