'Out of your Dreams' from
Oklahoma!
Hellow, my dear fellow human beings...

Well, I've kept it from some of you for a couple of weeks... but, I got good news

Yours truly, is no longer unemployed!

I got a nice, little
Runner gig goin' on till Christmas

. I'm hoping not to jinx it by saying how lovely and fun it's there... ...

Whacha been up to? lol...

Well, workin'... I get so tired each day, mentally at least, so all I can do when I get home... is collapse

into my soft, soft, smelly sofa with some
Spongebob, !
BobtheSponge... and more recently with a revived love for
Penn and Teller.

While on the subject... go to www.pennandteller.com and read some of their 'diaries'. It's well worth it

. I've been reading some whilst at work... Both of them seem like really intelligent people, very reasonable and fun.

Of course, the appearance of 'truth' can be manipulated... but this seems genuine indeed!

Teller speaks of his parents much and with great love and respect. Mr Teller is an excellent painter I hear (and 'his kid'

, wrote a book on the subject also

). His language is quite sweet, beautiful and accurate...

fans would know that R. J. Teller used to be Latin teacher, before his magic days, and is still a grammar nut (

As he wrote at some point).

The slightly louder, taller half: Penn, is very much verbose here. I found all his articles/diaries very entertaining.

He writes more about the showbiz, the 'One Show' as he says... lol I always assumed he'd be a scary, tough-talkin' fella, intimidating and fast-paced.

I found out that he loves to have fun, fights for the 'individual right to freedom' (lol, just read his account of how his
goolies were grabbed at an airport

and he fought a battle, but not the war... the guy has strong feelings, but he isn't some show-biz diva... he is quite reasonable, in fact.), has great passion for his art (he's taken up Jazz, bass-playing and from his accounts, he's improving and loves it...). I see a person who loves a challenge, and even though he might fail at first, he's going to go on, and get satisfaction from getting better.

lol also read of his 'Liquid Nitrogen Ice cream' adventures, and the day he and a friend hired a 'Genie Lift' and had a day goofing around with it around his courtyard.

These two illustrate perfectly, that you can be famous and not be a complete idiot and self-important shit.

We hear of all these 'celebrities' and those in the acting community who take to drugs and whine how difficult their life is... Shut the f*** up! Penn doesn't drink,.. at all! (Hooray for the man, neither do I...) and both of them are strongly against drugs. Neither of them seem to be self-obsessed. Why, every one of Teller's journals dealt with either his parents or his work... (~
artonfire read his journals about the time he learned to eat fire, not a note of whining or complaining!) Although Penn tells us of his adventures, they are never 'Look at ME, Me, me...', these are more like honest accounts for those who might be interested, from a man whose job just happens to make magic and he just happens to live in Vegas.

He's noted on several, lol numerous occasions how talented everyone around him is.
...They are very cool, and go get their videos...

, besides Teller is just as sweet-lookin' as ten years ago.

Ohh... what else...

OH YEAH! I went breakdancing today!

It was a beginners' class... but hell, it was tough. We did the 'steppy, steppy' the 'spinny, spinny' on the ground, some leg-twirls...

I couldn't do all the moves, lol and spent kissing the floor more than actually 'Breaking', but

I didn't care if I looked like a dork! I had tons of fun... very pleased in finding that I am quite fit. :jark: Just imagine jumping about whilst crouching. Yer legs starting to hurt right?

... Mine did too, but since I've been going to the gym, I had the endurance to keep going. My upper thighs and inner muscles are letting themselves known, so it's quite good for the 'flabby' bits

. There were quite a few of newbies, so I wasn't the only one mopping the floor!

... RnB hip hop some other week!

Watched some 'Lee Evans in Scotland' yesterday... damn, he's guaranteed to make me laugh out loud, tears in eyes and all every time! ... Depressed, tired, doesn't matter... I will do my best impression of a hyena everytime

. Yesterday, I lay back on a sofa,

choking on laughter... tears running down my cheecks. lol the Giggle spasms were so bad, I thought I was gonna barf :vomit:. lol This is why I can never go to a live stand-up of his, I am guaranteed to embarass myself, royally and completely...

You know who you are...

I'm so happy you got a job!
... too bad I'll have to restart searching actively in January
Mew
Dancin eh? I am glad you are getting into it =d!
If you know what Breakdancing is you'd know what sorta stuff we did!
Today, all my muscles are so stiff!
Penn and Teller are awesome! I used to watch their show Bullshit back in the days of super cable tv.
I am thinking of buying it for Xmas...
Lucky sod, you live close to Vegas... (closer than me)
*breakdances*
Break dancing, eh? Cool. Wish I had the capacity to breakdance. Looks difficult but truly amazing. Old skool, yo!
Yah, they are quite cool... I have three show-videos of theirs: Phobophilia , that UK television series (heavily edited I bet, since it's an hour video of a 'series') and the show they did with the 'Truck over Teller's chest' bit...
... and OF COURSE 'Penn and Teller Get Killed', great movie... quite fun. So what if it's a B-movie, it has may funny moments, and a cool insight into P& T... some fictional, some close-to-real :d... lar lar
What sort of things have you seen?
hee hee, Yo.. I'm so cool YO... and stiff as a board *ouch*. It was great fun, and I learned how to spin on my back...
Ta szpin o not ta szpin, dat iz da kwezchun, YO!
